What OnLive is?
OnLive is a way to play game on demand using your internet connection to buy and play PC games on your computer but the difference is that you don’t have to download the games you stream it.

You aren’t playing the game from your hard drive so no installations or downloads of the games are needed once you bought a game you can click on it and it’ll instantly stream and be playable. And since it doesn’t require installation of the games now the games that Mac’s don’t have is at your finger tips allowing Mac users to play any PC game available in the OnLive Library. You can access your OnLive account from any computer that has a internet connection and just do a quick download of the browser plug-in.
OnLive also boasts the ability to allow Low end computers to play games that would normally require a High End computers power like Crysis would be able to be play on your a normal consumer system with full HD graphics on as long as your internet speed is 4-5Mbps which the average consumer has. And even if you don’t have the 4-5Mbps internet and the 1.2Mbps Lite high-speed internets you will still get Wii level graphics. OnLive will auto detect what your current speeds and adjust as you start the game to maintain a stable constant experience.
OnLive will also have what they called the Mirco-Console allowing you to attach your OnLive streaming games to a TV and a standard console gaming controller and get the gaming console experience.

You will have a interactive community as you play you can chat with friends in OnLive, you can send videos. you can set up online matches of your favorate games You can record game video what OnLive calls “Brag clips” to show friends how you play a game or make game tip videos and upload it across the internet.
And finally if you are the kind of person that don’t know if you’d like a game untill you’ve seen it being played or played it yourself .you don’t have to always purchase a game you can even have a 5 day rental of any game available in the OnLive library, or simply spectate other players that are playing a full version of the game to see if you even like it.
